In 2007 Cristiano became the first player that could win every four major FWA and PFA awards. The next year he won the UEFA Champions League with his club Manchester United where he was awarded the highest goalscorer, the best forward for the tournament and also won European Golden Shoe. As a result of his goal scoring attitude he however won the European Golden Shoe award again and became the very first player that won the award in two different leagues.
